We Are Celebrating 23 Years of Marriage!!
Share
Can you believe it? Charlie and I have been married for 23 years today! It feels like just yesterday we were saying "I do" and starting this crazy adventure together. And let me tell you, it's been one wild ride!
How did we make it this far?
Well, let me spill the beans on our secret recipe for a long and happy marriage. First and foremost, it's all about communication. We talk about everything, from the serious stuff like finances and future plans, to the silly stuff like our favorite TV shows (Charlie's favorite is anything titled "Alaska") and embarrassing childhood stories.
But it's not just about talking, it's about really listening to each other. We make an effort to understand each other's perspectives and support each other's dreams and goals. It's a team effort, and we're each other's biggest cheerleaders.
Laughter is the best medicine
They say laughter is the best medicine, and boy, do we take that to heart. We've had our fair share of ups and downs, but we always find a way to laugh through it all. Whether it's cracking silly jokes, watching funny movies, or just being goofy together, laughter has been our secret weapon.
Life is too short to take everything seriously, and we've learned to find joy in the little things. From Charlie's terrible dance moves to my questionable cooking experiments, we've had plenty of laughs along the way.
Embrace the quirks
Let's face it, we're all a little weird in our own ways. And instead of trying to change each other, we've learned to embrace and celebrate our quirks. Charlie's obsession with boats and my love for cheesy 80s movies may seem odd to some, but it's what makes us who we are.
We encourage each other to pursue our passions and be true to ourselves. Life is too short to be anyone but yourself, and we've found that embracing our quirks has brought us closer together.
Here's to many more years of love and laughter!
So here's to 23 years of love, laughter, and everything in between. Charlie, you are my rock, my partner in crime, and my best friend. I can't imagine navigating this crazy journey called life without you by my side.
Here's to many more years of adventures, inside jokes, and late-night PubG games. Cheers to us, Charlie and I, and to the beautiful chaos of marriage!
